Brewery Functions

When the team at Grey Trees aren’t all busy working away, lovingly making our award winning ale, we love throwing a good party!  It also means we get to show off our fantastic premises in the Cynon Valley, South Wales, to hold functions for all our customers and local supporters.  We really can organise a “party” in a brewery!  The star of the event is obviously readily available – our amazing fine ale.  Then combined with our famous meat filled Yorkshire puddings and Ray’s legendary hand made pies, the party is complete….well, once the people arrive that is!

If you’re looking for a venue to hold a function then Grey Trees independent craft brewers is the perfect place!

We feel very lucky to be able to welcome such a mix of local folk each time we hold one of our soirees, from young (as long as they’re not younger than 18 years that is!) to old, man and women. Such an eclectic mix of people always makes for a fantastic gathering here in our industrial unit in Aberaman, Aberdare.

Brewery Vibe

There’s always an amazing vibe throughout the entire evening which is no surprise – we’ve experienced choirs spontaneously bursting into song, had wannabe stand up comics suddenly try out their jokes on the crowd, and sometimes we even have guest speakers such Welsh rugby legend, JPR Williams, to keep all entertained.

We know that everyone who attends our parties is there because they want to celebrate Grey Trees ale and give their continuing support to us so that we can keep on making such great beer, oh, and to have a really good night catching up with friends, family and local traders. Our supporters enjoy our ale, get fed well and share stories and jokes as well as the odd sing along. What more could you want from an evening out with friends?

“I thoroughly enjoyed the evening at Grey trees. I think they are doing a great job at the brewery and creating some truly original ales. The atmosphere was brilliant, especially when everyone started singing. It’s great to see a local business doing so well!”
