Grey Trees at the Great British Beer Festival

After winning CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Wales, Grey Trees will now go up against the CAMRA Award winners from across Britain at this festival.

Grey Trees’ Diggers Gold won CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Wales in the Golden Ale category and this fine golden beer will now go up against the other Golden Ale category winners from across Great Britain. Officials at this fantastic event will determine who is the Champion Beer of Britain!

The event runs from Tuesday 9th – Saturday 13th August with the winner of the award being announced the evening of the 9th at the Great British Beer Festival in Olympia, London.

The Great British Beer Festival website, CAMRA describes Diggers Gold as a ‘modern golden ale; alive with fresh citrus aromas which leave a subtle bitterness’

If you want to come and support your favourite local independent craft ale brewer then please let us know by commenting on our Facebook page, or give us a call as we really want to show our thanks to everyone who loves our ale.
