Great Welsh Beer And Cider Festival 2016

We can’t wait to return to this year’s Great Welsh Beer And Cider Festival 2016.

The Great Welsh Beer And Cider Festival 2016 will have more than 140 different beers from Wales, plus a few from London; more than 60 ciders from Wales and the south east of England AND a great choice of artisan foods, its an event that can be enjoyed by everyone so why not come and support your favourite local independent craft ale brewery and get tickets!

£6 a ticket includes a souvenir glass and beer list. Also, CAMRA members and those under 26 years of age receive a free half pint.

We’re clearly excited about the Champion Beer of Wales Competition (CBOW) as we have award winning Diggers Gold and Afghan IPA both in the Golden Ale category and Black Road Stout in the Stout category. The actual competition takes place Thursday 22nd September at midday and results are confirmed later that day.

This is a cracking event lasting 3 days, and if you haven’t been to any previous Great Welsh Beer And Cider Festivals, make sure you come along to this years as we’d love to see you there, plus we get a chance to thank all of our supporters!

Did you know that Wales is one of Nine regions where CAMRA have competitions? Some winners and
runners up end up at Olympia in London at the Great British Beer Festival that takes place in August. Also, if you’re a member of CAMRA you can vote online during autumn to choose your favourite ale for all CBOW categories.
